Warriors Homecoming - Ritual Storytelling Open Mic

A powerful new two-part community storytelling experience, Ritual Storytelling Open Mic – Warriors Homecoming, is coming to downtown Allentown this spring. Hosted at 1125 Hamilton St Allentown, this unique series invites veterans and community members alike to share their voices in a space rooted in tradition, courage, and connection.

The series will take place on the following dates:

• Wednesday, April 22nd — Doors open at 5:30 PM, event runs 6:00–8:00 PM

• Tuesday, May 26th — Doors open at 5:30 PM, event runs 6:00–8:00 PM

Drawing inspiration from ancient warrior cultures—including Greek, Roman, Vikings and Native American traditions—Warriors Homecoming highlights the long-standing practice of storytelling as a vital part of returning home from battle. Throughout history, warriors have shared their truths with their communities through powerful narratives—stories that have inspired timeless works and continue to resonate today.

This event reimagines those rituals for the modern era.
